Welcome to the Sosolik Group home page. In our research we probe the basic physical mechanisms that govern the interactions of ions with both solid and gas targets. Our primary research tools are a hyperthermal energy beamline and scattering chamber and numerous other sources of ions and electrons. In addition we are one of the primary users of the Electron Beam Ion Trap Laboratory (CUEBIT) which was profiled here.
